The Behringer DI20 is a compact active two-channel DI box and signal splitter. It converts compatible unbalanced instrument or line-level signals into balanced microphone-level outputs, helping keyboards, instruments and playback equipment connect to suitable mixer inputs.
Balanced XLR outputs are useful when the mixer is farther from the source, helping reduce interference along the audio run. A ground-lift switch can help with hum caused by audio ground loops, while switchable input attenuation accommodates stronger signals. The two-channel design supports a stereo source or two independent mono sources.
The DI20 can also operate in a link mode for splitting one input signal. It runs from compatible phantom power or a 9V battery, making it adaptable to different sound systems. Its small size makes it a useful problem-solving tool for live performances, presentations and DJ playback connections.
